Brags
You might call these accomplishments, but this is where I am supposed to brag. Do a shameless self-promotion of my accomplishments.
- From 1985 to to 2010 I was continuously employed by the same chain of companies during which the companies were merged, bought, sold, spun-off and acquired.
We changed from a "graphics company" to a "communications company" to a "thin client provider" to Ringdale. Through 5 company
name changes, I was always a critical employee to keep. I was the only employee who made it from 1985 to 2010.
- I wrote a 250 page FreePBX Administrator Guide
that will guide you through the process of installing a Centos Linux OS and FreePBX VOIP Server. This document has 15,700 reads on Scribd.
- I have worked with at least 12 different Operating Systems. Not just upgrades.
- I have become an expert on at least 12 different databases.
- I have always been able to pick up programming languages easily. I took over sustaining engineering on several products after just being shown the compiler basics
of the microcode. I programmed in 8X305, 186 and Z80 based products for OEM customers and arranged OEM contracts totaling $200,000 where I was the only one doing
the work, in one year.
- I have learned at least 12 programming languages:
COBOL, FORTRAN, 8080, 6502, 186, Z80, 68020, 8X305, JCL, PCL, HTML, CSS, and some Javascript.
- I have supported at least 90 products. About half of these products I supported from Beta.
